To start the year off right Kevin, Andrew, Brian and Austin drove to the Sea (Salton Sea) and set up camp on Dec 30th. They spent the night and hunted the next day. I had to work until noon on 12/31 but headed down there right after to meet up with the crew. It is a 2-hour drive so I put in my CD "Healthy Aging" by Dr. Weil. There is a LOT of information to soak in but there is always the rewind button if I start daydreaming.
We camped that night...I brought up sparkling apple juice and plastic champagne cups so we toasted in 2008...the New Year arrived at 8pm this year and then we hit the sack!
Kevin and Andrew brought in some Canvasbacks, Goldeneye, Bluebill and a couple of Pintail. It wasn't the best of hunts but it was a good way to start the year. Welcome 2008!!!
