Dave, Dad and Kevin

Kevin wasn't 'snap happy' this year so I do not have many pictures from Christmas this year. What I have is displayed in the slideshow. It was wonderful to get all the Moreau's together this year. Especially with losing Dad Moreau in August 2007. It has been difficult dealing with the loss and moving forward. Roger Moreau is often in Kevin's thoughts. He meant the world to him in many ways. Dad was more than just a dad. Roger being an accomplished artist and published author had invaluable experience and advice. He would take his time and really think about questions Kevin asked. He sometimes took a day or two to muddle things through but came back with sound advice and sometimes a suggestion or two to help. Dad's input and advice were invaluable. Kevin misses him so much.

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at Mom Moreau's. She always prepares the family favorites for both dinner and breakfast. A great cook and all her holiday dishes are delicious! We love and appreciate all her efforts in making the holidays memorable.

Kevin and I headed up to Anaheim at 10:30am Christmas morning, to spend the rest of the day with some of the members of my side of the family: Mom, Aunt Michan, Charlie, Pam, Erika and Cameron. Pam put on a beautiful display for dinner. She had chafing dishes and red table cloths laid out as if we were dining in a 5-star restaurant. The food was delicious and it was nice to spend time in their home.

Erika was home for the holidays from ASU. She is in her Sophomore year there and doing well. ASU made the Holiday Bowl in S.D. this year and she drove down to watch the game. Even though they lost to the Texas Longhorns, 52-34, the ASU college spirit was strong.

Cameron is looking forward to getting his driver's training completed. His favorite spot will probably be a video game store to pick up the next 'hot' game.
